Students Council

The institute believes that students are key stakeholders in our teaching-learning process and as a result of our belief; specific measures are put in place for active participation of students on different academic and administrative councils. The students actively participate in the Training & Placement cell, Incubation Cell, Anti-Ragging Committee, Women’s protection cell etc., and assist in the effective functioning of the institute where informed decision making is encouraged at both the ends.

Fests

Fests at SVIT are planned, designed and conducted by members of Festivity Committee, Samskruti, is established in the year 2013 to organize various programmes and to celebrate festivals with a name promote the understanding of unique cultural and ethnic heritage.

We encourage students to participate/celebrate significant local festivals, national festivals and inter college/university competitions to stimulate cultural sense, to respect/appreciate all diverse cultures to and motivate them to eliminate racism and discrimination in the society.

Clubs

Student clubs tend to focus around culture, social dynamics, and self-interest. These clubs look to satisfy the needs and demands of Students based on environment, tradition, and culture. Clubs like Literary, Cultural can bring students to socialize.

    SVIT has professional memberships of Computer Society of India, IEEE. The institute has set up an in-house center of excellence to assess gaps in students’ industry readiness and bridges the same by conducting both technology and non-technical programmes to up-skill the students.

    SVIT has set up an in-house AUTODESK center of excellence in association with ICT Academy.

    The institute has also set up a DELL EMC center of excellence in DATA SCIENCES.

    Student Support Services

    Student support services: The institute supports its students in personalized counseling, career counseling. The institute also helps students with periodic help desks in career services such as interface events with channel partners for assisting in making informed choices for overseas education and guidance in preparing for competitive examinations such as GRE , GATE, GMAT and UPSC.

    The institute has fully functional student grievance cells and support cells being monitored by senior most faculty members to ensure speedy redressal of their problems and timely support being provided.
